Projects

Hero Natures is a sustainable and responsible organization. Therefore, we conduct range of projects with the motive of developing social and environmental concerns and following are few of the recent projects which we have been engaged in.

01. Charitable giving.

  • Built a computer unit at the village school called Sri Sangabodhi MV.
  • Painted walls at Dankotuwa divisional hospital.
  • Donating school supplies among children who come from low- income families at North Western Province in Sri Lanka.

02. Volunteering in the community.

  • Annual Shramadana campaign at a rural hospital (Divisional hospital Dankotuwa)
  • Cleaned debris at the beach and coastline in Negombo area.

03. Socially and environmentally conscious investments.

  • Roadside tree plantings.
  • Operates wastewater treatment plant in company premises.
  • Distributing hybrid coconut planting materials among coconut farmers.

We believe that, FAIRTRADE is one of the solutions to many global problems.

As a fairtrade organization, we are committed to ensuring that our workers have a decent living standard. We assure a sustainable income by setting a minimum price for the commodity. If the market price for a commodity drops, the minimum price ensures the farmers and workers still earn enough to cover the basic costs of living.
Through fairtrade we promote environmental sustainability by promoting environmentally friendly farming practices and ensure that factories aim to reduce emissions and energy usage. Fairtrade premium is deposited into a collectively managed bank account of fairtrade farmer association. They can spend that money as a wage bonus or invest it into community improvements like clean water systems, hospitals, and schools.

We give main priority to providing a pleasant and secure working environment for our employees.
